Celtic's Drafts: Good or Bad?

Jared Sullinger

Jared Sullinger is a 20 year old 6,9 forward who weighs 280 pounds and played at Ohio State before entering the NBA. He was drafted as the 21st pick. I think he's a great player and all but recently there have been some reports about him having bad back problems so it might of been a risk to take him. Even though all that is true, Kevin Garnett is retiring soon so Sullinger has potential to be his replacement. I rate this draft an A.

Fab Melo

Fab Melo is a 22 yeal old 7,0 center who weighs 274 pounds and played at Syracuse before entering the NBA. He was drafted as the 22nd pick. I think this was a good pick because the only real center Boston has is Greg Stiesma.
Also Melo is a great defender espicially because of his 7,5 wingspan that helps
him easily block shots. I rate this draft a B+.

Kris Joseph

Joseph is a 24 year old 6,7 small forward that weighs 210 and played at
Syracuse before entering the NBA. He was drafted as the 51st pick. I think
this was an ok pick because we already have a small forward (Paul Pierce)
and a back up (Mickael Pietrus) so i don't know why we got a third. I think
the Celtics drafted him because he is a good all round player and is a descent
perimeter shooter. I rate this draft a B-.
