Here's a Picture of Him While he was in College
The Celtics recently beat Orlando 94-73 in the fifth game of the summer league. The star this time was Dionte Christmas who scored a game high 21 points on 7 of 14 shooting. Another big name again was E'twaun Moore who scored 18 points on 6 of 10 shooting. Also if you guys our wondering why Jared Sullinger wasn't seen in this game well that's because he needed a rest after working hard for four days. If you want to see the box score and recap click HERE. Oh, and also I won't be posting for a couple of weeks or so because I will be on vacation. Well cya guys!

Celtics: 82-73 Win Over Nets in Summer League

Jonathan Gibson
The first quarter was won by the Celtics 24-18, but in the second quarter everything just went downhill for the Celtics. In the second quarter Boston only scored 7 points! And guess what, the Nets scored 27. But after that the Celtics came back winning both the third and fourth quarter. The third quarter Boston won 21-14 and in the fourth they won 30-14. The star of this game was definitely Jonathan Gibson who scored 17 points while shooting 5 of 7 from the field and 2 of 5 from beyond the arc. Amazingly 15 of his 17 points were scored in the fourth quarter helping the Celts have a large comeback. I was not surprised he made two threes because he was the Italian League 3 point shootout winner. Also a big name in this game was E'Twaun Moore who scored 15 points while shooting 5 of 12 from the field and 1 of 3 from beyond the arc. also Jared Sullinger crashed the boards that game grabbing a team high 12 rebounds.

Celtics: Bradley Set for Shoulder Surgery

Avery Bradley
Celtic's director of player personell Austin Ainge while he was in Orlando on Sunday that Avery Bradley has been scheduled to have shoulder surgery Tuesday in Boston. He might miss a bit of the start of the 2012-2013 season as he rehabs from the surgery. If you ask me, I think this is really bad for the Celtics because now they don't really have a shooting guard. First Ray Allen leaves for Miami and now are other shooting guard is injured. Luckily we are probably going to aquire Jason Terry and maybe, if lucky OJ Mayo.

Celtics: Celtic's Summer League Team Beats OKC

Jared Sullinger
The Celtic's Summer League team recently beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 73-65 in the second game of the Orlando Pro Summer League. The star of this game was Jared Sullinger who scored a dazzling 20 points coming off the bench. He did this efficiently shooting 6 of 12 from the field and 7 of 7 from the foul line. During this game, midway through the third quarter,  with the shot clock winding down, Moore shot up a 30-foot prayer over OKC big man Cole Aldrich and banked it in. You can see the full box score and a game recap HERE.

Celtics: Will They Attain Lee?

Courtney Lee
After Courtney Lee's meeting with Celtic's head coach Doc Rivers Saturday Night, it appears the free agent can be a serious suitor for the Celtics. Sources tell that the Celts are trying to aquire him to replace sharpshooter Ray Allen who was recently traded to the Miami Heat. Last year in Houston, Lee averaged 11.4 points per game coming off the bench and also averaged an astonishing 40% from beyond the perimeter.

Redsox: Dice-K placed as a DL, replaced by Gomez

Dice-K Throwing a pitch in a game

It appears that Dice-K has been having some issues lately with a tightness in his neck and shoulder muscle. There had also been reports of him having this same issue in spring training a while back aswell. Because of this he will be placed on the roster as DL, and replaced by infielder Mauro Gomez. Mauro Gomez comes from the Triple-A team Pawtucket.

Redsox: Davis Ortiz Still on Hunt for No. 400

David Ortiz
David Ortiz recently hit his 399th home run off Jesse Chavez of Toronto last Wednesday at Fenway and has 21 at-bats since then but still hasn't quite been able to get No. 400. If Ortiz gets another home run he will become the sixth player in a Red Sox uniform to do so, the first since Manny Ramirez. Of players currently on the Red Sox roster, no one else is even close. Adrian Gonzalez is next at 201 who has been struggling this season. Ortiz’s next chance comes Tuesday night in Oakland, which has not been a very easy place for him to hit. He has a career .223 average in The Coliseum, and just 7 home runs, the least he has hit in any city located in the American League. But what makes it even worse is that he will be facing fellow Dominican Bartolo Colon, who has been the toughest for him to hit against out of all pitchers he has faced more than 30 times. Ortiz is just 6 for 45 in his career against Colon, a .133 average.

Celtics: Jason Terry, Bound for Boston?

Jason Terry (Jet)

Recently there have been some reports of the Cetlics keeping a close eye on Jason Terry who has spent his past 8 seasons with the Dallas Mavericks. Last season he averaged 15.3 points and 3.6 assists per game and shot 37.8% from 3 point range. If the Celtics do acquire him, he could become a deadly threat coming off the bench.
